This weapon is a species weapon, but works for multiple species: Acara, Flotsam, Jetsam, Kiko, Koi, Nimmo, Peophin, Quiggle and Tuskaninny. It will NOT work for Maraquan pets.
You are able to equip this weapon to any pet and select that item to use on your turn, but if your pet is not one of the water-based species, the message "Sorry, you are not a water based creature, so you cannot use this item!" will appear in the Battle Log.
